# GetBible Community Guidelines
Welcome to the GetBible community! Our goal is to foster an environment that is open, respectful, and welcoming to all. While many of us come from a Christian background due to the nature of the project, we openly welcome individuals from all walks of life. Our community guidelines aim to foster positive and productive interactions.
## 1. Respect All Members
Every person in our community is deserving of kindness and respect, regardless of their background, religion, nationality, age, gender, or experience level. Any behavior or language that belittles, demeans or discriminates against others will not be tolerated.
## 2. Promote Honest and Transparent Communication
We value openness, honesty, and transparency. Aim to communicate in a clear and concise manner, always ensuring your messages are constructive and drive progress. Dishonesty, misrepresentation, or other deceptive practices are unacceptable.
## 3. Encourage Constructive Dialogue
Disagreements and debates are a natural part of any project. Approach these situations with patience, respect, and a willingness to see other perspectives. Personal attacks, inflammatory remarks, or other disruptive behaviors are not allowed.
## 4. Respect Intellectual Property
Recognize and respect the work of others by attributing their contributions, adhering to license terms and copyright laws when using their work.
## 5. Protect Privacy
Respect the privacy of other community members. Do not share private communication or personal information without the explicit consent of the concerned individual.
## 6. Foster Collaboration and Openness
Our community thrives on collaboration and the sharing of ideas and knowledge. Make an effort to involve all community members, regardless of their experience level, in discussions and decisions. Encourage new ideas and provide constructive feedback to help others learn and grow.
Non-compliance with these guidelines may result in a warning or, in extreme cases, removal from the GetBible community. These guidelines may be updated as needed.
By participating in the GetBible community, you agree to abide by these guidelines. Together, let's create a respectful and productive environment for everyone.
