# Frappe Accounting

Simple JS based app for personal and small businesses accounting


### Installation

#### Step 0

Install build essentials

Ubuntu

```bash
apt-get install build-essential python git
apt-get install libgconf-2-4
```

#### Step 1

Install [Node.js](https://nodejs.org/en/) LTS (version 8.11.1)

> Tip: The best way to install and manage Node is to install [nvm](https://github.com/creationix/nvm)

#### Step 2

Install `yarn` package manager.

```bash
npm install -g yarn
```

#### Step 3

Clone this repo 

```bash
git clone https://github.com/frappe/accounting.git
```

#### Step 4

Install dependencies and launch Accounting

```bash

cd accounting

# Install dependencies
yarn

# Start the electron app
yarn electron
