Hello, I am a getBible user from Korea. Thanks to the getBible API, we are able to plan and service wonderful web services.
However, one problem is that it has been a long time since the Korean version was made. There are two main versions of the Korean Bible. One is "Korean Version" and the other is "New Korean Revised Version" Currently, only the Korean version of the Bible is in service on getBible. However, the second version, the New Korean Revised Version, is actually used more and more in Korea.
If you add a revised Bible version, it will be a much greater help to make various services using this API in the church.
We can also provide you with SQL data if you need it.
Your welcome, and I am happy to hear that the tool can be of some help and blessing to you.
As for more translations.. getBible API is build on Crosswire modules, and if we need a translation we must fetch it from them.
So Crosswire have the know-how and the infrastructure to maintain official distributions of the Bible in any language.
We added this version KorRV... not knowing Korean :) I see they have another version too [KorHKJV | Hangul King James Version] we can add that as well. But if the version your looking for is not listed with them, we can't help you.
You can always connect with those team managing those Korean translations on Crosswire, and ask them to get it listed... then we can also add it. But if KorHKJV will work, let me know and I will add it to the next build and it should be added to the API in a few days from now.
We have added the koreankjv and it is now part of the getBible API
