Steps to reproduce the issue

Install JCB

Expected result

JCB Installs

Actual result

Installer: :Install: Error SQL Field 'addcontributors' doesn't have a default value
Error installing package
Package Install: There was an error installing an extension: joomla__Component-Builder__v3.1.28.zip

Extension installation aborted.

System information (as much as possible)

  • OS Name & Version: Linux
  • MySql Version: 10.11.2-MariaDB
  • Apache Version: Apache/2.4.57 (Unix)
  • PHP Version: 8.0.28
  • Joomla Version: Joomla! 4.2.9 Stable
  • JCB Version: # Component Builder Package (v3.1.28)
  • Browser: Chrome

Hi @troy-cf , I may be wrong, but JCB still does not install on J4 and J5, but on J3 generating components for J4 & J5...

You’re not wrong fred. This is indeed the case. For now JCB installs on J3 and you can build components for J4/5.
