Steps to reproduce the issue

Install pkg-component-builder-master.zip into fresh Joomla 3.10

Expected result

No errors

  • Apache Version: Apache/2.4.58 (Ubuntu)
  • PHP Version: 8.1.27
  • Joomla Version: Joomla! 3.10.12 Stable [ Daraja ] 8-July-2023 15:18 GMT
  • JCB Version: 3.1.28
  • Browser: Edge

Switched to Firefox 123.0.1 Exact same errors: Error Please upgrade to JCB 2.12.6 or higher before installing this plugin. Just to confirm are you using this link: https://git.vdm.dev/joomla/pkg-component-builder/archive/v3.2.0-beta5.zip

If not please use that one for testing.

JCB's last stable release was: https://git.vdm.dev/joomla/pkg-component-builder/archive/v3.1.28.zip and while it seems to work on my side... the whole world of JCB has changes since then, and that is why we are on beta5... since 3.2.0 is about to be set stable.

I have been looking over the plugins... and I found bug in the install scripts. Which needs fixing, so lets keep this open as placeholder for me.
