[BUG]: Site view RouteHelper producing invalid links #1276

What Happened?

Using the same functions as the Demo component I attempted to generate links to my "World" items but the RouteHelper links produce an error. This is in the template of the "Worlds" site view.
The function is RouteHelper::getWorldviewRoute($item->id); . It returns links in the form of: index.php?option=com_threedbug&view=worldview&id=8 which ends up displaying an error page "The requested page can't be found."
Note: pasting that URL in the browser address returns the same error. http://localhost:8080/index.php?option=com_threedbug&view=worldview&id=8

Steps to reproduce the Bug

I migrated the code from the "Looks" site view into my "Worlds" site view and changed the identifiers throughout. After compiling it results in an error when the RouteHelper returns the result of getWorldviewRoute. The first such link is: index.php?option=com_threedbug&view=worldview&id=8.

Additional Comments

The URLs returned are similar to the "Looks" links, which actually work. http://localhost:8080/looks?view=looking&id=2:twoey
To be clear, I am using "worlds" instead of "looks" and "worldview" instead of "looking". Note that I am not using categories at this time. It seems the router isn't handling the generated links properly.

I think I reported a similar issue a few months ago but I can't find it now, sorry.

Doing troubleshooting I learned a couple things.

  1. Most important was my "Worlds" site view was linking to the wrong dynamic get. So I created one using the Demo component as an example and that helped.
  2. My experimenting revealed that the demo component and my component don't have a working way to link a menu to a single World or Look. If I create such an item it breaks the display of Worlds or Looks.
So the first one fixed my problem I think and number two belongs as a different issue.
