When you set "Add PHP (addToolbar - Admin_views)", to "yes" and fill out the field (like a comment to test where it is placed in the code) and than set to "no" again you get a compilation error.
Steps to reproduce the Bug
go to Admin View / Toolbar / Add PHP (addToolbar - Admin_views) *
set add PHP to yes
put a comment
set add PHP to no

Thank you for reporting this issue.
I've tested the behavior on my side and was unable to reproduce the problem. From what I can see, your environment is running on Linux with MariaDB and Apache, which is perfectly fine. My setup is also running on Ubuntu Linux, so our server environments are very similar.
One key difference I noticed is that you are using the Safari web browser. Unfortunately, Safari is not recommended for use with JCB. JCB has been extensively tested and validated on Firefox and LibreWolf, and these browsers are known to work correctly and consistently.
I've attached a couple of screenshots for reference. As you'll see, even when I add PHP code and then remove it again, everything continues to function as expected.
Could you please try reproducing the issue using Firefox or LibreWolf and let us know if the problem persists? This will help us determine whether the behavior is browser-specific.. maybe also share some screenshot or debug logs if this issue persists.
