[BUG]: Admin Custom tabs JText title #1302

What Happened?

When i create a admin custom tab the title of that tab in the single item admin view is still being generated using JText resulting in errors in Joomla 6.0.4 without backwards compatibility plugin enabled.

Steps to reproduce the Bug

create a admin custom tab in your component and compile. then create a new item in this admin view.

Which Joomla version are you compiling in?

6.0/4

Which PHP version are you compiling in?

8.3

Which Joomla versions are you targeting?

6.0.4

Which PHP version are you targeting?

8.3

Which Web server is JCB running on?

litespeed

Which Relational Database is JCB running on?

mariadb 11.6

Which OS is JCB running on?

almalinux 10

Which JCB version are you using?

v6.1.5

Where in JCB did this issue occur?

Joomla Component(admin_view)

On which browsers did you encounter the issue?

Firefox

Hi @TLWebdesign,
Thank you for bringing this issue to our attention.

I was under the impression that this had already been resolved, but I'm now seeing the same behavior on my side as well. I'll investigate this further and work on getting a fix out as soon as possible.

The issue is related to code generation of the Custom_Admin_Tabs, where an adjustment should be made during the generation process. I'll confirm this as part of the investigation and will share details on the required changes once identified.

I'll keep you updated as soon as I have more information.

Release of v6.1.6-alpha1

We've rolled out a fix for this issue in v6.1.6 Alpha 1.

Please note that this is an alpha release, as we are currently in the process of fully removing UIKit from the legacy JCB UI and transitioning everything to a clean Bootstrap-based interface for Joomla 6. While UIKit has been removed from all major areas, the UI refactor is still ongoing and remains in a testing phase.

We would really appreciate broader testing from different environments and use cases to help ensure stability across systems and components.

The reported issue is now resolved in this latest alpha release. Please let us know if you encounter anything further.
