Generated layout file does not match current code in JCB layout editor #667

I've got a very weird issue going on and don't know what to do. I updated to latest JCB today from version 2.11.x to 2.12.6. Started editing my component i have in JCB. but i noticed when i export it. A layout file is not generated correctly. it is displaying old code instead of the newly added code. How is this even possible?

Steps to reproduce the issue

Al sla je me dood ik zou het niet weten. (I have no idea how to replicate this)

Expected result

Generated layout file reflecting latest code changes

Actual result

Generated layout file showing very old code.

System information (as much as possible)

  • OS Name & Version: MacOS 10.15.7
  • MySql Version: 5.5.5-10.4.17-MariaDB
  • Apache Version: 2.4.x
  • PHP Version: 7.4.14
  • Joomla Version: 3.9.24
  • JCB Version: 2.12.6
  • Browser: Firefox 85.0

Additional comments

I've been looking at the test site code and the live site code and the generated package but i have no clue why this file in the package does not have the correct code in it. it is like it uses an old "version". I have versioning enabled. Please help because with this behaviour i can't push updates anymore.

Okay we can close this. there was a trashed item with the same name (with FP in the name. i think that i once copied the component and then trashed those items). And in other area's i had these files also available, but only in file i noticed it screwing things up.
