Deleting a branch is permanent. Although the deleted branch may continue to exist for a short time before it actually gets removed, it CANNOT be undone in most cases. Continue?
Today I removed JCB form my installation and installed the JCB package from: https://git.vdm.dev/joomla/pkg-component-builder
Installation went fine. But i saw that I need to enter a token. I thought by public it was not nessesary anymore. How can I solve that?
Everything will work (no limites as to functionality, and updates), but you will still need a token to know if your system is up-to-date 😉 (on the dashboard)
So the token is used to check for updates via our API: https://git.vdm.dev/api/v1/swagger
Having the token will be come more and more useful as the integration between our system and JCB grows.
So it is simple, we want those who use JCB to join our "world" so leaving the need for a token for none important stuff like seeing if your instance is up-to-date seems trivial enough.
